Land Acknowledgement

We respectfully acknowledge that Toronto is covered by the Toronto Purchase Treaty of 1787, ratified in 1805 and finalized in 2010 with the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is also within the lands protected by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Haudenosaunee and Anishinaabe and allied nations. From coast to coast, we acknowledge that Lilly operates on the ancestral and unceded territory of all the Inuit, Métis, and First Nations people that call this land home. We are grateful to have the opportunity to meet and work on this territory, and to honour the people who have been living on the land since time immemorial.
